'Hello Darlin' is a highbush-rabbiteye hybrid that was selected for its upright and compact growth habit, along with its fairly significant yields of sweet & crisp, medium-sized berries.
HD is an early variety and grows well in zones 7a-9 and could down to as cold as zone 5 with some winter protection in those colder climates.
Makes a great potted / patio specimen, as well.
In the late fall, the leaves turns into a vivid display of red and orange foliage.
Self-Fertile but best planted with another variety nearby (for increased yield), such as Pink Lemonade or another rabbiteye cultivar with a similar blooming time.
