Rubus idaeus 'Jewel'
This variety of black raspberry produces larger fruit than most other black-fruited varieties. Fruit is very sweet and has very few seeds.
Plants typically grow to about 4' - 5' tall and 3' - 4' in width when fully mature. Fruit ripens in early summer and bears on 2nd year canes.
Grows best in zones 5 - 9 in a location with full sun or at least partial sun.
Our plants are shipped at 2+ yrs of age and will bear fruit the first season if planted during the proper timeframe (10/15 - 3/15) of each year.
